Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 15, 2026

At VPNCookie, accessible from https://vpncookie.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and registered users. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.

1. Who We Are

Our website address is: https://vpncookie.com. For any privacy-related inquiries, data deletion requests, or questions regarding this policy, you can contact us at: [email protected].

2. Google Account Integration & Social Login (Google Sign-In)

To provide a seamless, friction-free login experience, we offer authentication via Google Sign-In.

What Google Data We Collect:

When you choose to register or log in using your Google account via our single sign-on (SSO) system, we request access to the following basic profile information:

  • Primary Email Address: To establish and uniquely identify your secure VPNCookie account.
  • Your Name: To personalize your user experience and dashboard.
  • Profile Picture URL: To display your avatar within your account settings page.

How We Use Your Google Data:

We use this information exclusively to create, authenticate, and maintain your account profile.

Data Sharing Restrictions (Google Limited Use):

  • We do not sell, trade, or transfer your Google Sign-In data to any third-party entities, advertising networks, or data brokers.
  • We do not use your Google data for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt-in to receive our email communications.
  • Your Google user data is only accessed, transferred, or disclosed to comply with legal regulations, protect our legal rights, or operate your secure account infrastructure.

3. How to Request Data Deletion (Google & Personal Account Data)

You have absolute control over your personal data. If you wish to revoke access or delete your VPNCookie account and any associated information retrieved via Google Sign-In, you can do so easily:

  1. Automatic Revocation: You can revoke VPNCookie’s access to your Google Account at any time directly through your Google Account security settings under “Third-party apps with account access”.
  2. Complete Deletion Request: To permanently delete your VPNCookie account and wipe all stored email addresses, names, and logs from our active databases, please email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We will process your request and completely erase your data within 48 business hours.

4. Cookies and Local Tracking

To improve website performance, monitor active billing sessions, and retain user display preferences, we utilize cookies.

  • Authentication Cookies: When you log in (including via Google Sign-In), we set up several cookies to save your active login credentials and layout choices. Active login cookies last for two days, and screen display configuration cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your active session will persist for two weeks. Logging out of your account automatically clears these login cookies.
  • System/Testing Cookies: If you visit our login gate page, we set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal identifier data and is discarded automatically when you close your browser.
  • Interactive Comments: If you choose to leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will remain active for one year.

5. Comments & Spam Prevention

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string to assist in automated spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Upon approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

6. Media Uploads

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download the images and extract any location data from them.

7. Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles or elements on this site may include embedded third-party content (e.g., videos, payment widgets, images, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the external website directly.

These third-party websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to their system.

8. Who We Share Your Data With

We take privacy seriously. We do not share your private data with external parties.

  • Security & Recovery: If you request a password reset, your current IP address will be included in the recovery email.
  • Spam Detection: Visitor comments may be checked through an automated, secure spam detection service.

9. How Long We Retain Your Data

  • Comments: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
  • User Accounts: For users who register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile (including name and email address retrieved via Google Sign-In). All users can view, edit, or request to delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their account username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.

10. Your Rights Over Your Personal Data

If you have an active account on this site, or have left comments, you have the right to request:

  1. An exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
  2. That we completely erase any personal data we hold about you.

This does not include any data we are legally or operationally obliged to keep for administrative, billing, legal, or security verification purposes.
